What's the best time to go LIVE on TikTok?

Diamond-gift volume across every TikTok LIVE creator we track, bucketed by day of week and hour in each gifter's own local time (a 9 pm gift in Japan and a 9 pm gift in the US both land in the 9 pm column). Darker cells are quieter; the hot cells are where viewers spend.

DeadPeak
How this is measuredGifts seen per hour, in each region's local time · a baselineevery 30 min
Source
Gifts seen in watched LIVE rooms, grouped by weekday and hour in the local time of the region they were given in.
Updated
Recomputed every 30 minutes, over the last 28 days of whole hours.
What the number is
When gifting is busiest across watched rooms — a starting point for when to go LIVE.
Known limits
Watched rooms only, so a lower bound of all gifts. A region that spans several time zones is placed on one, so its hours are approximate. Your niche and audience can move your best window.

How to read this heatmap

We add up every diamond-valued gift we observe across TikTok LIVE creators in the regions we track. Each gift is shifted into the local clock of the region it was given in before it is counted, so the grid reads in local stream time: if you stream at 8 pm, look at the 8 pm column.

It is a baseline, not a promise. Your niche, your country and your own audience move the best window; the gifts Toktik observes are a lower bound of all gifts.

FAQ

Which timezone is the heatmap in?

Each gift is shifted into the local clock of the region it was given in, then counted in that weekday and hour. So the 8 pm column describes the evening of the viewers themselves, wherever they are. Read it as local stream time.

How fresh is the data?

It is a rolling 28-day window of whole hours, recomputed every 30 minutes from the gifts Toktik observes in TikTok LIVE rooms.

Does the best time depend on my country or niche?

Yes. This is the global baseline across every region we track. A paid workspace can filter the heatmap by region; niche-specific windows are not available yet.

What is a region here?

A TikTok rank-board bucket, not a country: for example US+ is the United States board and MENA is the Middle East and North Africa. Each bucket is placed on one representative timezone, so a bucket that spans several zones is approximate.

Is this affiliated with TikTok?

No. Toktik HQ is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok or ByteDance.
