Terms of Service

Last updated 2 October 2026. These terms govern your use of the Toktik LIVE Intelligence web application, public pages and developer API. By creating a workspace, signing in or issuing an API key you agree to them. The provider is Toktik HQ, an independent operator based in Singapore (not a registered company); contact hello@toktikhq.com.

1. The service

Toktik provides analytics derived from persisted observations of public TikTok LIVE activity, across a stated, expanding Coverage Set. It is an independent product. It is not TikTok, is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance, and is not an official TikTok data service. TikTok is a trademark of its owner and is used only to say what the data is about.

Coverage is a bounded subset, never a completeness guarantee. See the data transparency page for how data is observed, labelled and limited.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use Toktik for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.

Public pages (rankings, guides, tools) can be read without an account. A workspace or API key requires signing in.

3. Accounts and API keys

You sign in with a magic link or a Google or GitHub account. Keep your credentials and API keys secret and tell us promptly at hello@toktikhq.com if you think one has leaked. You are responsible for activity under your workspace and keys.

A workspace owner can invite members and decides what they may do. We may rotate or revoke a key we find exposed or misused.

4. Acceptable use

Do not: circumvent rate limits, credit allotments or access controls; resell or redistribute raw API output as a competing data service without our written permission; scrape or overload the service; use it to target, harass, stalk or identify individuals, or to make decisions about people that produce legal or similarly significant effects; or break the law or another party's rights.

Results are observations of public activity. You must handle any personal data in them lawfully: respect transparency, legal-basis and retention duties that apply to you, and honour removal requests that reach you.

5. Plans, credits and billing

There is a free tier and paid plans for the web app and the developer API, with prices and limits shown on the pricing page. Credits are prepaid and metered as you use the service; hard caps stop usage at the limit and extra usage is available only through prepaid top-up packs.

Card payments are processed by a payment provider acting as merchant of record, which also collects any VAT or sales tax due; we never see or store card numbers. Crypto payments are processed by a crypto payment provider. Prices, plan changes and renewals are as shown at checkout and on your billing page, and a plan renews at the end of each period until cancelled.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing page or by writing to hello@toktikhq.com; it stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. We do not refund a part-used period.

Credits and top-up packs that have been used are not refundable. Payments made in crypto are non-refundable. Where the law gives you a refund or withdrawal right, or the payment provider's own terms require one, that right applies and prevails over this section.

If you were charged in error or cannot use the service because of a fault on our side, write to hello@toktikhq.com and we will put it right.

This section is also published on its own as the Refund Policy at toktikhq.com/refunds.

7. Data, coverage and third parties

Results carry coverage labels. A missing value reflects the bounds of the Coverage Set, not a confirmed absence. Figures are observed lower bounds of public activity, not official TikTok statistics or any person's earnings.

Toktik depends on public TikTok data that we do not control. TikTok may change or restrict what is available, and we may therefore change, limit or stop a feature or data set without liability. We do not verify, rate or endorse any creator or agency; an agency listing shows what the agency published, not that it is trustworthy.

8. Creator and viewer rights

A creator or gifter who appears on Toktik can ask us to remove or hide their handle using the data removal page or privacy@toktikhq.com. A recorded request results in durable suppression of retained history and prevents re-collection; see the Privacy Policy for the process and timings.

9. Our content and your output

The site, software, design, guides and compiled datasets are ours or our licensors'. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and its output for your own business or personal purposes, within your plan, and to quote figures with attribution to Toktik. Rights in the underlying public TikTok content stay with their owners.

If you send feedback or ideas we may use them without obligation to you.

10. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Toktik and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, put the service or others at risk, or fail to pay; where reasonable we will tell you first. Sections that by their nature should survive (payment, liability, governing law) do.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We aim for a reliable service but provide no uptime guarantee. We may update, limit or retire features, and change plans or prices for future periods with notice in the product or by email.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to it (or USD 100 if you have paid nothing). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes should first be raised with us at hello@toktikhq.com so we can try to settle them; any that remain are for the competent courts of Singapore, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the product or by email before they take effect, and the date above changes. Continuing to use Toktik after that means you accept the updated terms.
